The outdoor premiere of the Chinese-style musical poem drama "Walking with the Wind", adapted from the award-winning homonymous original picture book by renowned Chinese author Xiong Liang, took place at Shenzhen International Low Carbon City. The performance uses Chinese romantic expression to borrow objects to express emotions, utilizing traditional musical instruments, multimedia projections, and natural white noise for visual and auditory rendering. It immerses audiences in a mysterious mountain exploration journey, allowing them to hear the wind, see its shape, and understand its meaning, and feel the beauty of nature.

Art happens quietly on street corners. Authorized by Chinese picture book writer Xiong Liang, the specially designed Shenzhen International Low Carbon City version of the puppet parade "The Forest Melody of the Wind and Wood Nymphs" was a delightful surprise. Led by the Wind and Wood Nymphs, the "forest" residents wandered through the woods of Shenzhen International Low Carbon City and enthusiastically interacted with newly acquainted human friends, closely portraying a warm scene of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature full of life energy.

Low-carbon Observations: New Perspectives on Ecological Art

French renowned IP brand Smiley collaborated with Longgang District for the first time to create a Smiley art creative event, placing artistic photo spots at Shenzhen International Low-carbon City, Longgang River, and other locations to bring the main theme of "Smile more, less 'carbon' footprint" to Shenzhen citizens. Low-carbon Fun: New Trends in Green Markets

At the creative and surprising natural market, there were over 40 stalls integrating various artistic lifestyles such as coffee, light food, cultural and creative products, and handicrafts. The ingenious ideas of independent brand hosts collided here, joining citizens in exploring the theme of natural art and shortening the social distance between people in nature.

At the event site, there were also warm stalls that gave free desserts to security personnel, sanitation workers, and children, which was popular among citizens and won widespread praise. The shops were thriving, and citizens were joyful.

At the event site, a randomly displayed Hong Kong-style vintage dance brought citizens back to the 1980s, allowing them to feel the infinite possibilities and charm of life while coexisting with nature. Ms. Li, a citizen, said that this was her second year participating in Shenzhen's low-carbon art activities. This year's folk music concerts, Chinese-style puppet theater performances, and art parades were refreshing, and her children had a great time and learned a lot about low-carbon living tips. She hopes there will be more such activities in the future.
